The normal channels of sales and marketing are simply no longer enough for musicians.   Those who try to stick to traditional methods of promotion will find themselves being left out in the cold.</p>
<p>One of my clients is a musician with a vibrant past and a desire to leverage the web for promotion and distribution of his music.  Through this series of articles, I&#8217;ll share with you the steps we take and the methods we have employed to fulfil his career endeavors.</p>
<p>First up &#8230;   setting your objectives and aligning expectations</p>
<h2>Session 1 &#8211; Setting objectives</h2>
<p>This is the first step in the process because EVERYTHING is formed from the objectives.</p>
<p>We established 3 key objectives.  This is a good amount to start with and they should be pretty high level and provide coverage across the gamut of the business model.</p>
<h2>Session 2 &#8211; Aligning Expectations</h2>
<p>In this step I trialled a new method I developed that very quickly identifies what your expectations are about meeting the objectives and then realigns the expectations to be conducive with &#8216;forward looking&#8217; outcomes.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll be speaking in much more detail about this process because it truly amazed us how quickly we moved some old, stale viewpoints into very inspired and creative ideas to move forward with.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The possibilities of Google Wave are just dawning on me as I read Chris Lang&#8217;s brilliant tutorial on Google Wave.</p>
<p>I received my invite 2 days ago and have been a member of Chris&#8217;s <a href="http://webtarian.com/Google_Wave_Domination">Surfclub </a>since August.  The tutorial is tailored towards people wanting to incorporate Google Wave into their web marketing strategies &#8211; I do!  Hence why I am willing to pay a monthly membership fee for Chris&#8217;s brilliant insights.  Having had access to Google Wave since May this year, he&#8217;s wisely spent his time understanding the &#8216;implications&#8217; of gWave.</p>
<p>The result is a new set of information specifically about Google Wave that backs onto his already impressive information about Google Friends Connect.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t know Chris Lang, his product &#8216;Wickedly Evil Marketing Tactics&#8217; contains the wisdom of his Google / Social bookmarketing strategies and explains how he dominated his niche through Google products.  All his products are contained under the membership.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve started reading his tutorial on Google Wave, limiting myself to a few hours a day at this stage.  His insights and my hungry desire to establish a domination through early adoption have sent my head spinning!  As I suspected Google Wave IS going to change the game.  If you understand the importance of <strong>ranking and keywords in driving traffic</strong>, then you will soon see through Chris&#8217;s tutorials how important gWave is.</p>
<p>Its game changing nature is difficult to describe outside of having wave access and learning it through the humorous and forthright writings of Chris and his team.  I personally could have spent countless hours scraping through blogs and Google help to obtain the understandings I did in half an hour.</p>
<p>An example of the information Chris gives is the utter importance of choosing the Gmail account that will be associated with your Google Wave account and how getting it wrong will cause you plenty of headaches in the future.  Its clear to me from reading and studying his information that the things you don&#8217;t know you don&#8217;t even know is where the true value of this product lies.</p>

<td>When I first joined, most of the information was still relating to using Google friends connect and at that stage, I really wasn&#8217;t focused on that area for my Internet marketing strategies.  With the Google Wave tutorials coming online and being updated every few days, there is more than enough to keep me satisfied and happy with the monthly payment.</p>
<p>Additionally and importantly for me, Chris has responded quickly to my emails.  He&#8217;s an easy going guy who really seems to enjoy interacting with his members and helping them out however he can.  This is a big bonus.</p>
<p>On the downside, I didn&#8217;t find huge value in the initial sign-up because I wasn&#8217;t looking for Google Friends Connect information.  This has been countered substantially by the personable nature and the stella knowledge that is becoming available to me.</td>

<td>I&#8217;m paying around $30 a month.  My time is precious at the moment and my determination to dominate Google is strong.  I&#8217;ve been trying to find Google Wave products for months and his is really the only thing that has satisfied my requirements.  Your paying for good solid knowledge with this package.</p>
<p>The product is suitable for Internet Marketers who are savvy and know they have a limited time to get their Google Wave foundation in place.</td>
